I was born on May 12th, 1980 at Stanford Hospital in Palo Alto, CA.
My parents are named Michael and Linda. My sister Sara was born
on October 6th, 1984.
I (and incidentally Sara, too) went to
West Valley Elementary
in Sunnyvale followed by
Kennedy Junior
High School and
Monta Vista High School
in Cupertino. I graduated
in June of 1998 and am now a Sophomore at
Cal Poly, while Sara
is a Sophomore at Monta Vista.
I have always lived in the South "Bay Area" aka "Silicon Valley" but
but officially known as
Santa Clara County.
I first lived in an apartment in Sunnyvale until Sara was born.
Then my family moved to a duplex in Los Altos for 5 years until
our landlords retired and kicked us out. We lived at my grandparents'
house in Cupertino for that summer and then moved into another duplex
in Cupertino down the road from my grandparents' house. We moved in
to this place just before the
Loma Prieta
earthquake of 1989. We lived there for 4 years when we moved
to a house in Sunnyvale for a year. Following that, we moved to
a townhouse in the "De Anza Oaks" gated community in Cupertino where
my family lives still today. As you can tell, my family has moved
around a fair amount over the years (not including the moves my
parents made before I was born).
Throughout my life, I have been involved in many things related to the
arts. I took piano lessons from age 6 until about 14. (Sadly, I never
learned to sight read very well, so I can't play a whole lot.) My family
performed in The
Bracebridge
Pageant in Yosemite National Park every Christmas of my life until
I was about 16. My parents even participated in it many years before I
was born. They were always in the choir while my sister and I started
out as "Villagers" and were later promoted to "Lackeys" when were older.
I starred as a young kid in a Los Altos Conservatory Theater (LACT)
production of South Pacific when I was 7. I started singing in my
church choir when I started high school and I still sing with them when
I a home, too.
More to come...
